Our Name
Our Founder, Nikki, firmly believes that within each individual resides 'their muse', a source of inspiration propelling them towards personal growth, fostering a drive for positive change, and encouraging progress one step at a time. Nikki's profound connection to this concept stems from the painful losses she has endured, including her late partner, mother, and childhood confidante, all victims of cancer. Reflecting on their lives and the challenges they faced, Nikki channels their enduring influence, making them a constant presence in her journey to leave a resonant legacy for them and others grappling with cancer's impact.
About MyMuse
We started with an idea at a dining table that no one with cancer should have to struggle with navigating work and their employer. They should receive the support and care they need immediately as every manager and organisation knows the right steps to take. MyMuse was launched in 2019 when an idea became a need for others shown by research and interviews.
MyMuse initially offered in-house training and consulting to organisations and provided a give back to the community by helping those that had lost their employment due to cancer return into the workforce through a collaboration with partners.
MyMuse now offers organisations to be certified as Caring Champions™ through a series of benchmarking and compliance. We offer in-house and virtual training for organisations through our proACT™ and reACT™ programs, webinars for leaders and individuals and a technology platform to be released later this year.
Our customers range from ASX Listed organisations to small start-ups in a range of industries including but not limited to engineering, financial services, education, healthcare, property and professional services in Australia, New Zealand and worldwide.
